REPTILIAN WARFARE / EQUIPMENT & CREATURES

Equipment & creatures

Know what you carry—and what is coming toward you.

Hunter equipment

Scale armour

Hunter-only protection with scaled plates and a visor helmet. Earn pieces through rank trials; stronger equipment supports stronger weapons.

Scale Crossbow

Fires using power from worn scale armour rather than ordinary arrows. A Scale Chestplate is required.

Scale Spear

The hunter’s dedicated melee weapon. Earn it at Warden rank.

Scale Shield

Defensive gear earned at Slayer rank. Use it to block incoming attacks.

Scale Lance

Combines spear attacks with crossbow fire. Bring a crossbow and spear to a Hunter King to forge it; King rank is required to use it.

Ballista

A settlement siege weapon. Beasts should watch the walls and high ground for these defensive positions.

Only King-rank hunters can craft scale gear. Lower ranks earn their kit from a Hunter King and can return for missing rank rewards.

Who lives here?

CreatureWhat to expect
Full kaijuOcean and gila giants with growth stages and species abilities. Rival species fight each other.
Half kaijuSmaller beast forms found around kaiju domains. Their appearance changes as they grow.
CultistsSpecies-aligned inhabitants of kaiju settlements. They are not ordinary human Townsfolk.
TownsfolkHuman residents of fortified settlements. These are the targets for a stage-1 beast’s full-form trial.
Hunters & honour guardsArmed human defenders. Hunters use scale weapons and quick combat dashes.
Hunter KingRecruits hunters, grants promotions, replaces earned gear, and forges Lances.
Bulwark GolemA heavy defender used by human settlements and higher-rank hunter levies.
Outcasted King & outcast huntersA rare roaming warband with both eye benefits. They are hostile to regular hunters and kaiju; the king is not a normal recruiter.

Creative mode

Look in the Reptilian Warfare creative tab for the mod’s items, including both altars and the creature spawn eggs. Ocean and gila variants have separate eggs, as do the Outcasted King and his hunters.
